For what your doing, no.
The same wires are used weither DIS or Dissy, just a different terminal on
the end, and lenght of wires.
  All but the knock sensor are the same, as far as sensors go.
  The VSS has been covered, for the 730, and setting for "optical type
sensors"
(or the inline ones).

| is for a distributorless V6.  I plan to find which pins the 730 uses
| for spark signal on a distributor application and hook them to the HEI
| and coil, pop in a V8 chip, and splice two more injector plugs into the
| injector subharness.  Are there any gotchas I might run into?
