Advantage of 727 is less to run thru the firewall, specially if your fusebox
and relays are under the hood. Nice gold tinned thick connectors look alot
more rugged  arrr arrr arrr (tim allen) and are easier for the amateur to
probe. disadvantage is harder to swap chips. I dont know how far a ribbon
and ZIF can really be run for remote prom location, mine was only 6 inches
long.
