While, I had a few spare moments I was reading the Delphi catalog, and
various specs on temp sensors in the rear of the book.  Guess what, they
give an approxiamate RESPONSE (thermal time constant?) time for the, AIUI...
  Coolant sensors, 60 secs
  IAT  <15 secs
  A/C some <8 secs.
  Trannie temp <5 secs. (but odd mounting).
How about that race fans!!.
The fastest acting sensor using pipe threads (as photo appears) is a
12160855,
that uses connector (shell) 12047662, stuffer 12047664, terminal 12047767
(.8-1. wire), and 12064971 (.35 to .5 mm2 wire).
