Re: 730 DIS



Ford 4.6l uses a split DIS setup, 2coils (4-plug wires) mounted over each
cyl head. There is a remote DIS module on the fender that drives all four
coils. Have not researched the signal used for module,must be PIP or crank
trigger? Might be adaptable with a little signal conditioning. Would like to
use ford module with GM coils( can hide ford module) depending on cost, it's
a neat set-up.

I was in error when I made that statement.  The Quad4 uses a dual coil set
up.
