Mobil1 vs. Non-Synthetic vs. Red Line?

I have had engines with non-synthetic oil which lasted

The trick with a mineral oil vs. a mineral base synthetic like Mobil 1, vs.
an n-butyl polyol ester base synthetic like Red-Line is to look at the film
strength numbers. The film strength of a polyol ester base oil is higher,
by an integral factor, than the others. And--film strength, particularly at
high temperatures, is what prevents engine parts wear (as caused by metal
to metal contact) in an engine in high load/high performance situations.

Pay your money, and take your choice!
