Re: Memcals

Is there an easy way to simply defeat the RFD function, as opposed to
recalibrating it (ie: zero RFD fuel delivery when limp home is entered)?
Would this be as easy as cutting one or two pins of the resistor networks
under the SNEF?

In custom fuel setups, it is quite possible that a person may be controlling
3 or 4 times the intended max factory fuel rate via the CPU. However,
should the CPU ever fail and force "Limp Home" mode then immediate and
severe engine fuel washing would result, not to mention possible converter
destruction.

Would be nice to have the assurance that this could never possibly happen.
A CAA membership card & a cell phone sound a lot cheaper than hurt
hardware!
