These apps initially used both a map and a Maf. The maf did the fuel
meas.

Procedure was to insert the SD chip, slap on a sticker and unplug the
failure
prone Maf.

Essentially when you use a Map you need to implement the SD formula.
Maf/RPM gets you to the same point

   There were TSB's back in some of the earlier V6 apps, like a 2.8 VIN
"W" that went from MAF to speed density to correct driveability...I'm
just curious what was changed on the PROM and if they used the existing
wiring to adapt a MAP sensor. Never did any of these yet...
