RE: nostalgia



I checked, they claimed "nope".  They used to have them on the website,
thanks for thinking of me however.

I liked the Timex SInclair because at age 14, they were selling in the local
food store (Shop Rite) for $29.95 with the 16k memory pack.  I liked this
particular "toy" because it has EVERY internal signal going to/from the
processor hanging on that back connector, thus easily interfaced to other
things.

Like my roving room-mapping roller skate like thing I called a robot :)
This is actually how I got involved in electronics...

Fredrick, I think Jameco might still have some of the old C64 chips, not
sure.

Somewhere I have an 8" floppy from an old job, and at one point I had a
Timex Sinclair 1000 (couldn't afford anything else!) Talk about a
dinosaur.
