Re: Nother ALDL grabbing method



I'd think it would be hard to accurately pin down the interspacing with all
the noise I'd expect from hooking up that way, to the spark! pretty neet
though.  probably have to use programming to assume the next pulse was
shorter than the previous pulse to weed out falsies. probably very involved.

With ALDL, interspacing is easy - should be consistant but I should not
assume this - I could use an algorithm to "autobaud" then read the states
allowing for some timing drift if i have to. Presently I assume a perfectly
clocked signal.

Could hook to and record VSS pulse as well to get more accurate 1/4 time
(remember a long time ago I was messing with that - dropped it too)
   yea I know tire slippage yea yea ;-)
