sorry I am not currently playing with this pcm..

I think the scaler value and the fraction convert the VSS signal in
counts into
some sort of MPH.

the scaler ALDL converts the hex value to a value for the aldl monitor.

thats bout my limit of knowledge right now

In the $EE PCM from my '94 Vette there are three values that contribute
to
the speedometer scaling.  With a 3.08 rear end and a 285-40ZR17 tire,
they
are:

Speedometer Scaler:  25
Speedometer Scaler Fraction: .984
Scan Tool Speedometer Scaler: 41.5
