RE: GM Powertrain

Hi Group,
hmmmmmmm makes me wonder....once they told me 500(maybe it was a number
to blow me off) and I was discouraged......we might actually be able to pull
this off considering all the groups and forums there are.....No more public
talks though till I find out the skinny on this....don't want to draw any
attention from the big guys....private mail would be good at this point to
see what kind of interest there is....One of the guys at Merc told me he
thought they were paying less than $200 each but they buy thousands and
thousands of these....so we'll see. ttyl

Hi Ron,
What kind of supecharger are you planning on using? I am building an
auxilary fueler specifically for what you are doing...I have not programmed
any Mefi3's and was told I would have to buy 500 of them to get the software
to do it... as you may know they are flash programmed...the mefi 1's and 2's
only had 512 bytes of lookup tables and locations are not in table formats
like in early eproms...wouldn't be impossible to reverse.....I would be
interested in what you are doing and can hopefully lend a hand....for those
of you who haven't seen these yet they are palm sized and are very powerful
and 2-3 bar capable..ttyl
