Re: PCM Questions



The P6 PCM (non OBD II versions), covers a large range, starting with Cad's
Northstar in about 90/91, Saturn then 92/95 Vette, LT1, 92 - 95 C/K truck
and so on. It supports 4l60, 4l60E, 4l80E and manual, DIS and HEI, TBI and
Multi Port, 4, 6 and 8 Cyl. 

In other words just about everything after 1992. A ten year old design. 

It's a HC11F1 proc with a faster clock rate, 256k to dual 512k Flash menory.

8192 serial communcations. 

A good choice all things considered, since the P4 processor is a 20 year old
design. A bit long in the tooth for electronics. Any you guys using 20 year
old PC's?
