Fw: Need help with Opel...

I found this in my personal inbox this morning.
This list probably has the info he needs.

I just sold all my '93 Opel Monterey info
last week <grin>

If anyone knows Russian, it may be easier
to help him in his native language.

Thanks,

Ron

Subject: Help!

I ask, if it is possible, help.
Essence of a question: is present (mine) Opel Monterey 3.2 petrols of 1993
MT 5
Since that time began to occur the misses(passings) in ignition, change of
capacity etc.
Check Engine does not burn, "brains" pure(clean) (12 12 12 12 12 12 12 12 12
etc.) at short circuit of the diagnostic plug
Worthy diagnostics at us in Murmansk is not present, therefore it was
necessary itself to begin to understand.
Has collected the interface "ALDL-PC" on MAX232, has joined with auto.
Available in Inet Shareware of the program do not work with mine auto
(include Newgcar,Garbytes), though ECU responds

71 92 D0 00 99 00 00 40 8C F3 1E 13 C9 47 00 00 15 15 03 00 FF 03 etc.

In the descriptions GM ECU, with which I have, answer F4 81... Is not
described, I assume that the answers ECU VERY MUCH about model

On ECU there is a label " Service No 16178592
                                           16178339 BBHB 3.2S MAN EUR "
I ask to prompt, where it is possible look the description given ECU (or it
PCM?) and description of the protocol of an exchange.

   Beforehand thank
Sergey Gorohov of Peas of Murmansk,
Russia
