Re: 4.3L S10 questions



You may want to avoid the later flash 95 ECM, as some are 1/2 OBD2 and OBD1
(I am stuck with one of these monsters :~(  As far as I know, no one has
cracked it. You may identify it by location, as mine is mounted under the
hood on the pass. side. A friends wife has a 95 Blazer with the 4.3W, and it
has the earlier under dash ECM (dont know its number, never "allowed" to
look), which may be a little easier to play with. I dont have my ECM number
off hand, but if you want it, LMK.

Howell's has a kit to do just that.  The kit  comes complete with wiring
harness and computer--I doubt you can use the TBI computer as is.
