I bought one from the local auto parts store (O'Reilly Auto Parts) for
$20.  OTC Part #212633.  The cable is only 1ft long and terminates in an
8-pin DIN.  Not all pins are connected to the DIN connector, but in my
case, the one pin I needed was there.
Not sure if $20 is the normal price or not, as I think my friend that
works there got me a discount on it.
