RE: Problem reading original EPROM



Thanks.  Was getting ready to go search for a checksum generator (or write
my own) and had forgot about Cat's stuff.

Download TunerCats' "Checksum" program. Read your chip with your EPROM
burner and save the file. Read the program with the ChkSum program--note if
the checksum is correct, and you've more than likely got a good read on the
thing. Use NAT 27C128 and do a read and save, and then 27C256 settings if
that doesn't work.
I tend to save files with the chip size extensions so I don't get mixed up
<g>.
