Do what I did..
Go to your local gmc dealrship.. ask if you can look at an oem service
manual for the gta....
They have excellent diagrams.. most dealerships will give it to ya for a few
and may even photocopy what ya need.

		Hi Mike. The engine is now in a 1984 Jaguar XJ6.
		The VSS *generator* is on the 700R4, sends a signal to the
ECM, the cruise
		control and the speedo through this *buffer*. Problem is, I
don't know exactly
		which of the 5 wires does what. Using colors and the rest of
the harness, I
		believe I have found out which is B+, and which go to the
cruise and the speedo.
		Apparently one is input from the VSS gen and another sends
the buffered signal
		to the ECM, which applies 12VDC to the wire and then *reads*
the buffered signal
		by the *grounding* of this signal. My O'scope doesn't help.
		This must be specific to the GTA digital dash.
