Scoggins will also drill the vortec heads to accept the older manifolds. The
only drawback to this is a slight mis-match in ports.

One recent magazine article measured .2" mismatch with an Edelbrock
Performer manifold. The article mentioned that some minor grinding would
take care of the problem but they didn't bother for there particular test.
(Sorry, can't find the magazine right now)
