Re: Automotive Circuit Protection - Part 2

I have been a professional jumper also pass 16 yrs. Would
worry more about the dead jumped car than jumper vehicle,
since cars were Euro models with $5000 computers. Would use
a deep cycle marine battery. if not enough power to crank
then
run jumpers to marine battery in parallel. Many cars
especially 80's had warnings not to jump start and
disconnect battery before using battery charger, but did not
see any warnings about using vehicle to jump other cars. I
do not think I have ever
turned off engine while connecting or disconnecting, I guess
mainly to cold out. I did witness(hear) a H2 battery
explosion
while connecting and seen a few Snap-On chargers die.
