   Yep , additional pin on '95 serves dual duty [ Functions] A4 or M6
    Depending on which SW is in place.

I found out the external harness is different too when I converted from
4L60E to a t56 in my 94.  The pin for this is used for the reverse lockout
in m6 applications, but was not even wired on the pcm connector on my 94
A4 harness.
