You have to chose mode before link.  So the ecm isn't in ALDL.  I don't have
it in front of me I think you want to select diagnostics

Is it normal for the idle to speed up on an 87 Blazer (OEM 747/TBI, 305ci)
when linking with
diacom?  I've never goofed with a 747 before, I was trying to help
troubleshoot it.
