I opened up a Saturn ECM once.  It appeared to be use a multiplexed bus
'HC11 (instead of the non-muxed 'HC11F1 variant that a lot of newer ECMs
use.)  The obvious ROM had a lot of traces going to a what was probably
an address latch (demuxer).  Both of these chips then had lots of traces
going to the MPU.  The rest of the ECM had quite a few of the normal GM
ECM support chips.
