What the heck is Kwarm Kickdown Enabled?

This is pertaining to the problem I posted a couple days ago about the ECM
pulling 20 deg of timing at cold start until:

after several frames of 113.8 deg F
the moment the target idle goes from 750 RPM to 737.5
the moment the kawrm kickdown enabled goes 1  (NV word goes from 41 to 105)
