Corvette and Camaro Bin's have much different spark maps for starters
because
the corvette's had aluminum heads. If you use a vet prom on a camaro engine
you will
experience detonation. I wouldn't worry about trying to run on 4 cyl's until
you get it
running right on 8.  Terry Kelly makes a nice editor for the 730 ecm.
I would suggest mounting the 02 sensor close to where more cyl's come
together
to get a more accurate measurement of a number of cyl's.  730 ecm has to
capability
to run hwy fuel which allows you to command a much leaner than stoich afr at
cruise.
