Re: NTK o2 sensor identification

Only two WB NTK O2s that I know of, one 5 and one 7 wire units.
Use an ohm meter across the whites to make sure.
Grumpy

I recently came across a few NTK heated oxygen sensors for a very good price and I was hoping if anyone could identify it's markings that it has on the shell of the sensor: (8B17) These sensors are a three wire type with two of them being white and one black. I am under the assumption that the two white wires are for the heater circuit and the black one for the signal circuit with the sensors' ground going through the threads. Is this correct thinking? Does this marking indicate whether or not it is a wide or narrow band unit?

Any helpful information would be appreciated. Thanks for your time.
