As Steve mentioned, the efi332 list has a board design for Nat'l Semi's
LM1949.  

GM_ECM_speak:
The '747 (and others) use this chip. See http://www.cruzers.com/~ludis and
look for "C3 Chipset Pinouts" and/or "ECM Schematics".  GM Delco part
number 16053640, or very similar.
