RE: O2 threads

Very timely. I stripped my O2 bung on the header and had to get a tap. The
salesman at the Bolt store took one look at the O2 sensor and said that is a
NPT 3/8" pipe thread.(He says this is a standard pipe plumbing thread.) I
bought the tap and screwed the O2 sensor in after chasing the threads in the
header with the tap. Works great.

18x1.5 same size as a large thread spark plug.

I happen to have a helicoil kit in just that size, because I stripped
one of mine.
