RE: Ford injectors

Because of the fuel rail.. I'm guessing your car has he thick extruded alum
fuel rail.
Fords use a thin walled steel rail. The thick alum absorbs the sound. The
thin walled pipe type used on the ford actually seems to amplif the sound
some...
Sort of like the difference of tapping on a seel thin pipe compared to a
thick alum pipe..

This is my best guess :-)

Well I ordered 24# SVO injectors from Summit and then these Dark
Blue topped
injectors show up. I tried using them but the engine would get too
much
fuel at WOT so I called SVO and they said from the part # that they
were
30#. My Mustang friend had the light blue 24# so I traded him and
they have
been working great. Whats wierd is the same injectors in my car are
way
louder than in a Mustang. Anyone know why that could be? Thanks.
