Re: Fuel injector cleaning system?

We routinely use Delco X66 , also helps loosen crustaceans from back of valves
and upper Cyl areas. The scheme you mention gets it done.

I run a full service repair shop & have been around several injector cleaning
systems. Nothing I've seen seems to work better than a 1/3 Delco X66 & 2/3
gasoline mixture run through the pressure test port with the return line
blocked off. I've seen factory systems & homemade systems alike. It's all a
matter of hooking up a reservoir for the liquid with enough pressure to feed
the system (13 to 45 psi depending on vehicle) & coming up with a way to tie
into the fuel rail. Biggest advantage I find with the factory units is plenty
of adapters. Wallace O.
