Re: TPI flow numbers (was Re: ALDL data)

Ken Kelly posted the freg in gm/sec for the late MAFs
hook one up, and use a frquency counter would be my suggestion.
Heck then you could cal the fuel needed for a specific AFR.
Hmm, sounds sorta like what Scott did
FWIW  Modern Muscle has the 3" for 99, and the 3.5 for 179

Yup, that would be useful data...flow numbers all the way from the filter to the intake port. You really can't accurately calculate systemic flow from the rates of the individual parts, gotta run the whole thing together to see how turbulence from an upstream piece upsets flow downstream, etc.

In other news, I really liked GMHTPs latest data set on cyl heads even tho my GM L98 aluminum heads came in dead last on all metrics. Can't wait for Scoggin-Dickey to finish the Vortec compatible TPI intake base so I can swap in a pair of Fast-Burn heads!

Thanks KEvin, I have the TPIS book as well as John L's SBC book... What I'm after is numbers for the ENTIRE SYSTEM, ASSEMBLED. I dont imagine anyone but the manyfacturers have gone to this extent, and it may be guarded info??
