Re: quick EFI harness question

I would think a well done Bendix PTO [ Mil ] connector shouldn't cause any undo problem electrically speaking. Various Factory Harness's have additional "feature" weather pack cons spliced in for normal usage. Cool thing about the Bendix Mil connectors [AMP] , many accept a weather tight twist cap , when not in use. I would attempt to match Gold on Gold where ever possible , especially with an in line application since gold offers excellent resistance properties.

HI;

In my custom installation I have opted to build my own wiring harness to go from a 730 ECM to the various sensors and motors. My question is does anyone think there would be a problem with inserting a connector (round Mil-spec AMP with gold/tin pins) in between the ECM and the sensors..

I didn't think there would be a resistance problem, but wanted to ask opinion.

thanks
