Re: 730 ECM Swap



That is what the subject started out as, and still is but has narrowed to
one of the KEY connectors and where / how to get it.

If you want to simply swap go to Mike D's page and look at the pin
references and re-pin the harness yourself and do the other 2 things and
you're done.

This is the DIY method (albeit using alot of others' research) - note the
name of the mailing list. ;-)

If you want a "kit" , made by someone else you'll probably have to pry it
out of their cold, dead hands. lots of effort and hours to make one of
those, then its like one of your children.

the one in mike's picture allows you to swap between either system (MAP and
MAF) in about 2 minutes, once installed. pretty neet.
