AFAIK, there are only three values you need to change: Initial advance, max advance, and max retard. All of these locations are known for the 3.1 masks.

There are "timing values" between the chips which are not easily
swapped.
But for someone using a 165 or 730, it may be possible to use a
2.8/3.1 calibration as a base point.  The trick there would be
identifying the table locations.  Is tunercat offering anything for
the 30 degree v-6's yet?
