You wouldn't beleive the gymnastics the ecm can do with info..  Like in one
application I was looking at with a scan tool, it used MAF, and did a
calcullation to read MAP.
  For interesting reading go to DIY_EFI, and read all the MAF, and MAP
postings, and decide for your self which is "better".
