That was in reference to an OBDII LT1 motor, for a 94-95 you'd need a
3900ohm resistor, and prior to that you'd have to measure what the
resistance is across the sensor (all you're doing is fooling the ecm into
thinking that the thing is still there, even though what you put in there
doesn't generate a signal).

Fair warning, this is a bad idea on LT1 and probably most other GM motors.
The LT1's are pretty much setup with some ungodly amount of timing advance,
basically it will keep advancing the timing until the knock module tells it
that you're getting knock.

Most motors do not make best power right before they start knocking.
