Re: V8 '165 harness modifications

There is no programming on this injector. It's a simple heat sensor/timer.
When I bought a Lingenfelter Box intake it didn't have provisions for the
cold start injector, when I called them they told me I didn't need it,
especially in CA. They were right. I have also subsequently converted to
89 Software, which eliminates the need for the cold start injector by using
the main injectors.
I have about 300 rwhp and have seen a max pw of about 12 ms on diacom and
with the batch injection that the 165 ecm uses, static is about 24 ms, if I
remember correctly and if I'm wrong I am sure someone will correct me) at
6000 rpm's.
Just leave it off. (The cold start injector) If you are running an
automatic, convert to 89 code and get Terry Kelly's GME Pro and have the
keys to the city.
