Re: Selectable chips & boost programming (thanks)

     Doug,

I have not been following this thread completely but for your information
I have a 92 Corvette LT1 383. I believe we would both have the same ECM
(#16159278).
    The 383 is a complete Lunati stroker, 6" rods, 2818 pistons, 4340
crank. I am running a Carroll/Vortech S-Trim supercharger w/ 10# Boost. I
have 42# Lucas injectors w/ Vortech T-Rex in line pump and a Bosch in-tank
pump.
With the GM ECM and a lot of programing I now have the car running
great. I have no add on fuel system, FMU or Boost Retard, everything is done
in the Eprom. Also the car just passed Calif Smog ( IM-240) w/ HC- 8PPM and
CO @ .07%. BTW this is cleaner than when completely stock. So if you are
looking to supercharge your F-Body you should have no problems with that
ECM.

                               Jim

Thanks everyone for this AMAZING amount of information! I can't wait to
have the $$$ to buy an EPROM burner and eraser and get rollin on the chip
for my 93 Camaro. I'm working on a document that summarizes the various
parameters for the 93 PROM. I've got a partially completed ECU file for
WinBin for the 93 Camaro. I still have to figure out how the TCC lockup
tables work and I also have to figure out the speed limiter / rev limiter
unit conversion, but other than that it's getting there. All the fuel and
spark tables, part throttle and WOT are in there. MALF flags and option
codes are still in the works, but getting there as far as what does what.
Thanks to Roger H,Grumpy and Eric C for all the info they've provided me
with. Hopefully I can get a compilation together one of these days.

Again, thanks for all the help on the multiple program switching... I don't
know about that boost programming yet however... too complex for my skills
so far. But I'm an Intel and Z80 assembly junkie, I think I'll have my car
computer calculating RPN over the ALDL in no time :)
