If you havent hacked the chip and maybe fudged a value, I'd suspect a fuel 
pressure problem. Assuming the sensor is good, and you've verified a nice 
true uniform square wave out of the MAF, unplugging it puts the car in backup 
fuel mode. You should check for vacuum leaks and possibly check fuel 
pressure. Remember, 5 psi too low is enuf to make a TPI motor run like crap.
