Looking for a website

Not long ago, I came accross a web page in
which the author had written an app for a palm pilot,
that allowed him to connect to an aldl connector on
his GM EV1(?) automobile.  I was given an old palm3
and I'd like to try something like this, but I can't 
find the site.
I was hoping someone remembered it or had it bookmarked.
