RE: A standard defition format for ECMs, with LT1 as an exampl

Yes. It's no different than today's ECU file it's just an accepted and
controlled (?) standard that everyone could obey and have software to right
around it. We use XML here to automate our development process. The
software guys can't be stuck writing new code for EVERY new thing our
chemists want to do, and the chemists simply can't write code. So, the
software is set up to take these XML "scripts" which the chemists now know
how to write and automate their tasks. Make sense?

Is this XML file something we'd use instead of a .ECU file? Or am I still
not grasping the use of this?
