Re: MAP signal damping/more cam help



The EPA went nuts over that smog defeating devise (their approximate words).
I'd heard some interesting rumors about what GM was told to do, or the
penalty would have been stupendous.  While it might still be in there, but I
don't recall it on any of the newer EFI stuff, I know lots of the CCC was
that way.
  That and when they first caught wind of the highway timing stuff.  They
got the code and all, just never looked at it, and when they did red flags
flew everywhere.  Course this is rumor stuff, but was funny to hear.
  Ya suppose the lawyers will ever get done and get the code released into
the public domain, like the law stipulated it was supposed to be?.
