(Un?)fortunately the truth doesnt negate the fact that those things sell
like hotcakes. on ebay they commonly sell for *almost* retail!

in HVAC ductrork, its 12:1... with the use of honeycomb "air straighteners"
the nessecary length can be reduced. an airfoil design that used honeycomb
(0.5 CM each maybe?) straighteners to bend the air around the center would
likely sell.
