PASSlock system bypass?

Maybe some of you can help me out here. I have been putting GM FI engines
into older vehicles, specifically old Toyota Land Cruisers. The last one was
a 1994 TBI350/4L60E combo. I am now looking at a 1998 Vortec 350/4L60E.
I have been told that I may run into a problem starting the vehicle due to
the Passlock system which may have been on the donor truck. Is there a way
around this? I know that the Passkey systems could be worked around with a
resistor. Can I have the computer reprogrammed to eliminate this feature or
what? Someone explain this system to me. Thanks
