Bruce,
    A gentleman from the Monte list essentially explained to me how to wire
the factory harness to my car.  He has performed at least twenty such
conversions and worked with a few aftermarket harness'.  He swears by
factory harness' and when he has had to use the aftermarket he has spent
more time repair them than if he would have just started with a factory.  A
used factory harness is a lot cheaper than an aftermarket harness anyway.
