The old stuff tends to have tan bodies, the newer ones have black
bodies.  Of the tan bodies, the really old ones are "solid" while the
newer ones have lots of little cavities that reduce the plastic usage.

It appears that cars with a MAP sensor hook that to the RFD chip.  MAF
only cars use the netres and the TPS to simulate a MAP sensor.  Two or
three of the netres resistors act as jumpers for this.
