Re: Am I going the wrong direction ?

All of the mods listed , No indication of Inj size or Fp spec. Scan data of
BLM , INT values vs TPS, MAP, RPM and O2 correction will be the path
to required fuel corrections. Do 1 change at a time so you can record the
the response of that change. There's no silver bullet to replace the time
to get the tune up right. Avoid wholesale changes in Fueling and Spark
at the same time , unless you want to build a rubber room for yourself .
Read Programming 101 over and over until you get a grip on the basic
Do's and Dont's of EFI calibration. BAD MOVE to change ANYTHING
before understanding WHY a change is necessary. Many times , it's
what you Don't change that's the real "Hot Setup" .

So where would I guy like me start messing around in the .bin to make the
car wake up a little ? I guess leaning it out doesnt work, so richening
should ? I'm using TunerCat btw. I read the 101 Programming tips but it's
still very confusing stuff for me, especially for a newbie :) Do you guys
think more timing and more fuel should help a little ?
Here's my mods...

Ported and polished heads, ported stock TPI base, ported plenum, Comp Cams
XR270HR-10 cam (lift .495/.502 duration 218/224 lobe separation 110),
Edelbrock TES headers, LT4 valve springs, Crane AFPR, Flowmaster catback
with LT1 style tips, MSD coil & wires...
