You're welcome...It's probably not a permanent fix, and your transmission
will require an "eventual" rebuild, but let's hope for the best. Unlike the
earlier transmissions with a "kickdown" cable, these have something called a
throttle valve cable--and are very critical to transmission performance and
longevity.
TV pressure is so critical, I don't offer this transmission as a carry-out
anymore. I've had more dingbats burn these things up because they can't
follow simple instructions. Another bad one is the Ford AOD and A4LD...if
you attempt setup without a pressure guage, it'll be back in short order and
stinking--guaranteed.
